We have two venues for hire: Bellview9 (rooftop terrace, level 9) and the Burnett Room (ground floor).

Bellview9

On Level 9 of Wesley House, this is a stunning indoor and outdoor rooftop venue with views to Brisbane City Hall, King George Square and the City skyline.  

Approximate capacity: 60 people seated theatre style, 50 people seated banquet style, 100 people cocktail style event.

AV Equipment available: Integrated audio visual system including screen, digital projector, 4 x microphones, lectern, internal and external speakers.

WIFI guest access: included.

The Burnett Room

The Burnett Room is a large multi-purpose room located on the ground floor adjacent to Albert Street Uniting Church.

Approximate capacity: 100 people seated theatre style, kitchen facilities adjacent

AV equipment available: Integrated audio visual system including screen, digital projector, 5 x microphones, lectern, internal speakers.

WIFI guest access: included.

No, we do not have parking onsite.

Parking near Wesley House is very limited. King George Square Car Park is the closest to us. This car park often offers a flat rate at night and on the weekends.

Nearest public transport hubs are the King George Square Bus station and Central Train station. Visit  Translink to plan your journey.

Catering can be arranged by the onsite cafe if required (07 3189 4231) or a selected caterer from our approved list. We do not allow self-catered/managed events.

Decorations for the rooms are by negotiation with the Wesley House Building Manager.

Use of function furniture is included in hire. We have approximately 120 chairs and 20 rectangle tables (1800 x 900mm) shared between the two venues.

Smoking is not permitted.
The venues are expected to be left in a tidy state. Although general cleaning of the facility is included in the cost of hire, all rubbish, materials, and food waste are expected to be disposed of in the receptacles provided.
Indemnity Insurance may be required.

The hirer must supply a certificate of currency for public liability insurance to the value of 10 million dollars. The hirer will indemnify and hold indemnified Wesley House from and against all actions, suits, proceedings, costs, claims, expenses, damages and demands what-so-ever which may be taken, prosecuted or made against Wesley House or incurred or became payable by Wesley House for on or account of use of the premises by the Hirer or on account of loss of life, injury or damage to persons or property suffered or sustained by any person or body howsoever caused whilst on the premises on behalf of the hirer or at request or otherwise pursuant or incidental to the use of the premises by the hirer.

For cancellations of less than 14 days, the hirer will be charged 50% of the total fee.

Invoices for payment are sent at the conclusion of your event.
